Pilsner Urquell: The Original Beer Experience, which brings the history of the famous Pilsner beer to life in a unique way, is celebrating its first year since opening in the historic building on Wenceslas Square. In its inaugural year, the exhibition attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors, making it one of the five most visited tourist attractions in Prague.

What is the Experience? The concept combines storytelling with immersive modern technologies, beer tasting, and entertainment. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff members ensure that every visitor has a wonderful time spent in good company, no matter their background. Do not expect a brewery tour, but a breathtaking story of the World's first Pilsner beer experienced through all your senses.

In three floors of a newly reconstructed historical building in the center of Prague, covering an area of 3500 m², you will find more experiential opportunities than in any beer museum. You can look forward to impressive installations, the latest technologies, interactive elements, and of course, there is also a taproom and a traditional Pilsner pub.

A fun audio guide will take you through the story of beer from its history to the present day, and before you end your tour in the pub where you will enjoy a perfectly poured Pilsner on us, you can have fun in the 360° gaming room. In the Taproom School, masters of their craft will teach you how to pour different styles of Pilsner beer, such as hladinka, šnyt, and mlíko, and you will learn how to recognize good beer at a glance.
